Check out some of the treatments you can expect to have at Move More Physical Therapy!
Electric Stimulation

Electrical Stimulation is a method that sends electrical pulses through the skin to stimulate injured muscles or manipulate nerves to reduce pain! This can help accelerate recovery and provide pain relief from uncomfortable symptoms.
TENS: used for chronic or acute pain. Signals are sent through nerve fibers to block or reduce pain signals traveling to the brain
EMS: Slightly stronger than TENS, electrodes are placed over the affected muscles to cause rhythmic contractions to improve muscle activation, circulation, and motor control!
Ultrasound

Therapeutic Ultrasound sends ultrasonic energy into the soft tissues to provide a heating affect over the painful or injured area. This can help treat conditions like hip, shoulder, or elbow bursitis. The heating effect improves blood circulation, tissue mobility, and promotes healing.
Manual Therapy

Manual Therapy using a variety of methods can improve circulation to the affected area, increase soft tissue flexibility, improve mobility, decrease pain perception, facilitate tissue healing. Manual Therapy has been shown to have positive biomechanical, neurophysiological, and and psychological effects!
Neuromuscular Reeducation

Neuromuscular Reeducation is an intervention that focuses on Proprioception, Stability, Balance Training, Kinesthetic Awareness. This will help improve your body's motor control, ability to activate certain areas and become more aware of your body's positioning.
Therapeutic Exercise

Therapeutic Exercise is the MOST IMPORTANT aspect to your Treatment Plan! Muscle, Tendon, Ligaments, and Bone ALL respond in a positive manner to resistance training. This is what creates the long-term positive effects in the body's tissue to be able to recover from injury, prevent future injury, and to build tissue resiliency to fight against repetitive use injuries.
Cupping

Cupping is an amazing adjunct used in Physical Therapy to allow instant improvement in range of motion, muscle and nerve mobility, improve blood and lymph circulation, and reduce pain.
Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization

Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization is a GREAT way to instantly allow your muscles to relax, increase blood circulation, stretch the connective tissue, and promote a better healing environment to the area.
